About
Hi, I’m Daniela Albano and I’m an Honours BSc Multimedia Technology and Design with Professional Development graduate from Brunel University, London.
From a young age, design caught my eye. I remember as a child designing home interiors on paper and with my discovery of the internet, I was instantly absorbed and began to appreciate design in a different light. From wanting to be Graphic Designer, my intentions turned towards digital design, including wallpapers, journal layouts and avatars. I eventually decided that I wanted to become a Web Designer, which lead me towards taking a degree.
After the second year of my degree, I was able to go on a professional year long placement. I was placed with a web design agency who gave me the oppotunity to greatly extend my skillset and experience Web Development, something I began to love and appreciate as its own art form. The culmination of the skills acquired on my degree and this placement enabled me to be a part of two web design and developments projects in my final year of university: Made in Brunel and My Cupcake Cafe, the latter being my dissertation.
The world of digital media is ever expanding and I am proud to be a part of the online revolution. I currently work as a Web Developer for Score Communications, a digital agency located in the heart of Fitzrovia, London.
Other hobbies include baking, reading, travelling, photography and music. I have a deep interest in Japanese culture, as well as enjoying bike riding and keeping fit.
